Pai-Shau’s, Director of Education, Amy Stollmeyer, gave us the scoop on the looks you’ll see on stage at HAIR FOR FUN 2017. The Pai-Shau team will cut and style four looks, together called the Studio: Five Four Collection (shown above).
“Education to me is about sharing tips and tricks of the trade – helping to simplify and problem solve beauty challenges with others,” Stollmeyer said.
She’ll be joined on stage by Pai-Shau Creative Director, Felix Fischer. Here’s a bit more about the duo:
About Felix Fischer
Swiss-born Felix Fischer is one of the most creative, versatile and highly experienced hairstylists in the professional and consumer beauty worlds.
His passion for the creative industries of fashion, art, dance, music and photography is all-consuming and underlines his unique vision of hair design. He combines a strong fashion eye and advanced knowledge of hair trends with a remarkable technique – including in-salon styling, cutting, color, and styling for high-profile editorial photoshoots and the runway. In the haircare industry, Felix has worked with brands such as Nexxus, L’Oreal, Goldwell Color Zoom, Wella Trendvision, KMS and Schwarzkopf in a variety of capacities including campaigns, collections and tutorials.
His work in fashion began in the mid-eighties working with Donna Karan on a runway show in St. Moritz and since then he has led runway teams for Jean Paul Gaultier, Prada, Romeo Gigli, Anna Molinari, Armani, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta and Vivienne Westwood. Now based in New York, his editorial list includes the greatest and most influential international magazines such as Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Numero, Elle, Glamour, Marie Claire.
A man of the world – Felix’s creative instincts are stirred by the vast streets of the most renowned cities around the globe. Felix finds himself regularly roving Tokyo, Paris, London, Berlin, Moscow, Bangkok and Milan for inspiration.
Felix brings incredible inspiration, technical skill and knowledge to the Pai-Shau Pro Artist Team as he continues to share his passion to create.
About Amy Stollmeyer
Born and raised on the Caribbean Island of Trinidad, Amy grew up among richly diverse, multicultural communities and remains inspired by different cultural rituals, festivals, international fashion, nature, art and architecture.
Amy has worked extensively in many departments of the professional haircare industry as an Education Manager, Global Creative Team Educator, Platform Artist, Editorial Stylist, as well as a Backstage Artist at numerous New York Fashion Week shows with designers such as Marchesa, Zac Posen, Rachel Zoe, Jenny Packham, Cushnie et Ochs amongst others. Amy has also shared her passion for hair on numerous TV appearances as guest “Hair Expert” for Steven and Chris, Omni Television, and City Line.
In the past decade Amy has worked extensively throughout North America with consumers, beauty industry icons, distributors, manufacturers, photographers/videographers and fashion designers developing a wealth of knowledge and professional relationships. Amy’s fun-loving, warm, island personality blends with all walks of life, her modern approach to hair and beauty combines diverse forms of creativity with simplistic logic!
